Supporting INGO Through Tax-Efficient Giving

Your generosity helps INGO, operating through its legal entity Lydia Foundation, deliver impactful programs in health, education, economic development, emergency response, sustainability, and innovation.

Where applicable and subject to the laws and regulations of each country, donations to INGO or its affiliated entities may qualify for tax benefits.

India

Lydia Foundation is committed to complying with all applicable Indian laws governing charitable organizations.

Section 80G

Eligible donations made to Lydia Foundation may qualify for tax deductions under Section 80G of the Income-tax Act, 1961, provided the organization holds a valid 80G registration and the donation meets the applicable legal requirements.

Tax deductions under Section 80G are available to eligible donors in accordance with the Income-tax Act and related rules.

12AB Registration

Lydia Foundation maintains applicable registrations required under Indian law for charitable organizations, including registration under Section 12AB, where applicable. This registration supports the Foundation's charitable operations in accordance with the Income-tax Act.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Lydia Foundation seeks to maintain eligibility for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding in accordance with applicable Indian regulations. Eligible companies may support INGO programs through CSR partnerships, subject to legal requirements.

Foreign Contributions

Lydia Foundation accepts foreign contributions only in accordance with applicable Indian laws and regulatory requirements. International donations are received only when all required approvals and registrations are in place.

International Donors

Tax treatment for charitable donations varies by country.

If you are donating from outside India, we recommend consulting your local tax advisor or relevant tax authority to determine whether your contribution qualifies for any tax benefits under the laws of your country.

Donation Receipts

INGO provides official donation receipts for eligible contributions. Donors should retain these receipts for their records and, where applicable, for tax filing purposes.

Transparency and Accountability

INGO is committed to the highest standards of financial stewardship and accountability.

We strive to ensure that donations are managed responsibly through:

  • Transparent financial reporting
  • Independent audits
  • Strong governance
  • Responsible grant management
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Ethical fundraising practices
  • Impact measurement and reporting

Every contribution helps us strengthen communities and advance our mission of improving lives through sustainable, evidence-based solutions.

Disclaimer

Tax benefits depend on the donor's country of residence, applicable laws, and the legal status of the receiving entity at the time of the donation. Donors are encouraged to seek independent tax advice regarding the deductibility of their contributions.
